TFV Contest is Now Open (Updated)

Since it has been asked a lot; The Countdown on the main page shows you how long is left to get your submissions in for the TFV Contest.

I've not been around much the last couple of weeks, because quite frankly, I'm going through a very rough time finding out there's really no one I can trust in my personal life, and I'd rather just stare mindlessly at the TV rather than be sociable at the moment. Just goes to show you, you can make tons of money and have a great car... have a great sense of humor and not care what comes out of your mouth... do everything for everyone and do good for others... but if you live in an area of scumbags and users, you're always going to be treated poorly. And no... I can't move, so please don't mention that.

I let some of the staff make an "Other" folder for miscellaneous submissions in hopes it would not get abused. Well, I will say now, I deleted it because people were abusing the snot out of it. I was browsing through submissions, and saw near a dozen people shamelessly abusing our "1 submission per folder per month" rule by putting in a submission of a photo of a model (for example,) into Photography - People, and then less than a minute later, submitting another photo of the same model to Other. Sorry folks, while a good idea, I knew people would try and abuse it. So, if you have any questions on where to submit a work... just ask yourself "How did I make this?"

Another example.... if you designed a t-shirt, and did so on Photoshop? Digital Artwork. Worst that will happen is someone from the staff will ask you to resubmit it to a different folder. Just use some judgement, and you will be fine!

TFV: Television, Films & Video Games is now open and running!

This new contest is all about you favorites on the big or small screen. Take a Cosplay shot as Steve Urkel... write up an alternative ending to a movie in Literature... draw up Super Mario beating the crap out of Spider-Man. What ever works for you!

To avoid confusion since everyone on the staff does not know every show, film or game out there, (and who would?) If we're not sure what your submission is representing, we will add a comment to it asking you about it. For example, a lot of you teenagers are probably wondering who the hell Steve Urkel is. If you were a staff member, and saw a picture of what you thought was just a hipster with bad posture... we would say; "What is this from?" We would then want an explanation... then it will get accepted. Simple!

Rules are as follows;

-1 submission per person.
-Any form of media is allowed.
-Existing work in your submissions can be entered into the contest.
-Works already submitted to the group will not be hunted down by us and moved into the Contest Folder.
-Submissions will be taken until the counter hits 0. Anything after that will not be admitted.
-First prize receives 500 points!
